What Are Your Feelings Creating

122How intently do you pay attention to how you feel? How often are you in the present moment?  Believe it or not, how you feel is the key to a joyous life.  When you think a thought it creates a feeling. That feeling then generates either negative or positive energy.  The energy you send out attracts anything and everything into your life experience that is a match to it.  If you send out negative energy you are going to attract negative experiences.  If you send out positive energy you are going to attract positive experiences.

And so, everything is in response to the way you feel — everything is. Everything is mind over matter. Every disease is mental first. Everything is about thought. Everything is about vibration. Everything is about the way you feel. Practice scenarios that feel good—and never mind reality. Reality is only a brief moment in time that you keep repeating.  – Abraham

The Universe is always, never-ending, in tune with how you are FEELING.  It does not matter what you say, do or think.  All that matters is how you feel.  This is in fact the Law of Attraction.  It is not something that is made up – it is as real as you and me. When you begin to pay attention to how you feel you will see why the things that show up in your experience show up.  If you are happy most of the time then your life is probably going pretty smoothly.  If you are unhappy most of the time then your life is probably not going the way you would like it to. 

124If you would like things to change, first take a look at your life.  Define the type of life you are living – happy and satisfied or unhappy and unsatisfied.  Once you have defined your life, define how you feel most of the time – happy or unhappy.  Finally, define your thinking patterns – positive or negative.  Keep in mind it is the thoughts we think that CREATE the FEELING and the FEELING CREATES the OUTCOME – the manifestation.  This is why it is said that you are the creator of your own reality.  How you FEEL creates your life experiences.

There is no need to “figure” things out or sort through your past to get to a place of feeling good.  The easiest and most effective way to feel good is to remain in the present moment as much as you can. To be connected to your Inner Life, to who you really are will give you the power that will change your life.

The Universe loves you so much that it will not deny you anything you “ask” for.  It is your feelings that are doing the asking!

Detoxing Your Mind

04We cleanse our bodies as a healthy means to flushing out unwanted toxins, but how often do we cleanse our minds of toxic thoughts?  Our minds are just as important as our bodies, if not more, for what we feed our minds, feeds our bodies.  Unhealthy thoughts lead to unhealthy habits that can eventually cause disease and death.  How and what you think will ultimately contribute to the quality of your whole life, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Just as it takes time to cleanse and detox our bodies, it also takes time to cleanse and detox our minds.  Our toxic thought patterns are poisonous to our lives and especially to our hearts.  How can you live through your heart if your mind is poisoning every part of your life and body?  Any negative thought or belief is toxic to our well-being especially when these thoughts are directed toward ourselves.

The reason our toxic thoughts make us feel so “bad” is because they are not in align with who we really are; they do not come from our Inner Life, but through our outer life.  When you dwell on negative thoughts you move further away from your Inner Life until one day you wake up filled with anger, frustration, stress, anxiety or depression.  When you become consciously aware of your negative thought patterns you can more easily change them because you will have the control, not your mind.

03The first sign of any toxic thought is how you feel.  If you do not feel “good”, you are not thinking good thoughts. There is no way you can think positive and not feel good. If you can get in the habit of daily meditation, changing your thought patterns will come more easily because you will be creating no thought.  No thought aligns you with your Inner Life because you are then one with who you really are.  And when you are one with who you really are; negativity escapes you.  If meditation does not come easily to you, train yourself to change every negative thought to a good one even if it means focusing on just one thing that makes you feel good.  You can also get in the habit of consciously thinking positive thoughts before the negative thoughts take over your mind.  Start your day off by thinking about the aspects of your life that make you feel good.  In time, your mind will automatically think the positive thought before it starts to think the toxic thought because you have re-trained your mind into a positive thinking pattern.

Be patient with yourself as you move toward a new way of thinking and keep in mind what benefits the mind will surely benefit the body.  You will be amazed at how quickly life can change in the direction you want it to just by feeling good!!!!

Don’t Wait For It; Live in the Essence of It

131Paying attention to how you feel will not only tell you what type of thinking habits you have but also why you are attracting what you do into your life. Negative thoughts create unpleasant feelings inside of you.  These unpleasant feelings will attract something unwanted because you are sending out negative energy.

The Universe does not read your thoughts, it reads your vibrations; your energy.  It is always, never-ending, in tune with how you are FEELING. Whenever you do, say or think something you are generating energy.  This energy will either create something you want or something you do not want.  It has no choice; it is the law of attraction – like attracts like.  This is why all the great teachers and masters tell you to live in the essence of that which you want instead of waiting for what you want to show up.  If you sit waiting from a place of unhappiness you are going to continue to attract more of what you don’t want.  However, when you live in the essence of what you do want, you are putting out positive energy which will bring you what you do want, sometimes instantaneously if you can hold onto the vibration of it.

122Honestly speaking, it is not as easy as some make it out to be.  The Law of Attraction is a given law and it makes perfect sense, but we have years and years of negative conditioning, thought patterns, habits, and beliefs we have to conquer.  You can re-program your mind but it will take time.  I have diligently been working on it for 2 years and for the most part I do attract what I want, but there are some areas of my life where I need to change my beliefs.  I don’t want to say it is a constant battle but at first it does take time and effort.  The one thing I rely upon the most is how I am feeling.  If I do not feel good, I know I am thinking negatively so I can immediately change my thoughts.  The second thing I rely upon is a daily practice of meditation because it frees the mind of all thought and aligns you with pure positive energy.

Trying too hard doesn’t help either.  Some days I have to remind myself to just let go and when I do, life flows easily and effortlessly.  There is really nothing you have to do to achieve the level of awareness that is needed to attract what you want except to feel good.  Once you get in the habit of recognizing when you don’t feel “good” and change your thoughts, it will start to come automatically.  Your body will always be in communication with you through how it feels.  It is like a trigger – when you feel “bad”, you know you need to change something so you can feel good again.

124Whatever it is you want and desire, don’t sit around waiting for it; start living in the essence of it and see how quickly it shows up in your life experience!  Have fun with it – life is supposed to fun, happy and joyous!!!!
