Letters of Love – Take the Time

17When was the last time you hand wrote a love letter to someone? I am not talking about an email, text message, or an array of Emoji’s. Don’t just say “I love you”, but write it ~ write letters of love to those you love and appreciate. Think of all the reasons why you love someone and tell them.  Write it from your heart, from where the love began and continues to grow. 

It’s only natural to become irritated or frustrated with those we spend a lot of time with.  It’s only natural to not always feel the love you once felt.  As time goes on there is a tendency to allow the negative to overpower the positive, to the point of forgetting what is really important and that is LOVE – pure positive unconditional love.

If you were to sit in the pureness of your heart and focus solely on the love within you and around you, you would be amazed at the difference not only in how you feel, but also in how you feel toward others – all others.  Love is the most powerful and greatest emotion we have and yet we let it slip through our lives time and time again.  Isn’t it time to live through your heart – through love?  Take the time to write a letter of love …..it will do you and someone else good!

Yielding To What Is

03When we yield to the things in our lives that cause us anything but joy and happiness we are giving ourselves the freedom to be truly happy.  Yielding to or giving way to something doesn’t always take it away or change things, it just doesn’t run you over. You may still have to face the unwanted, but instead of it completely knocking you down, you are then able to let it run its course with peace instead of anger.

Yielding to what is isn’t about failure or giving up for that matter.  It is about allowing the natural flow of life and of being in tune with your Inner Life, the greater and more powerful part of who you are.  When you are in tune with your Inner Life being alive and living the life you want comes so much easier than fighting against it.

So I say to you, just yield.  Give way to everything that imprisons you in a negative state of being.  A state of being that keeps you out of tune with your Inner Life and therefore unhappy.  Just yield to all the negative behaviors, feelings and emotions you are holding onto and just let them go.  You are holding on too tight, you are fighting too hard, you are resisting your inner truth.  You are resisting life as it is.  Everything you want, need and desire is right here, right now, all you have to do is just yield and trust all is well.

To Feel Good Is the Best Option

22If feeling good is the best option, then why do so many people choose not to feel good?  Why do so many people do the things, eat the things, or say the things that leave them feeling less than good?  I have pondered this for many, many years because like you, I have not always chosen the “feel good” path in life.  In fact, there were times when I chose to do things that I knew without a shadow of a doubt would make me feel absolutely miserable and yet on I went with it!  

I believe what happens is that we sink to the point of losing our faith in having the power to change how we feel and thus change how our lives play out.  For most, it’s a slow ride to the bottom.  A ride you may not even realize is taking you down until you are so far down it’s hard to get up.  It’s kind of like one day you wake up and get slapped in the face with your life. The realization of where you are hits you so hard it makes your stomach churn.  And the worst part, you have no idea how you got to be where you are.  Where did all those days, months, or years go?

23The good news….there is no need to worry or stress out about where you are OR how you got there.  There is ALWAYS a way out and UP. All you have to do is get back to feeling good.  No matter what it takes or how hard it may seem at the time, make the solid choice to feel good now.  Just for now, think a thought or do a thing – something – anything – that you know will make you feel good.  Stop trying to convince yourself that there is nothing at this point in your life that is going to make you feel good short of winning the lottery.  You always have a field of good feeling stuff to choose from.  It is up to you as to how bad you want it.  And if you are thinking that feeling good is not going to change your life or take care of your problems, you couldn’t be more wrong.  Feeling good, no matter what, is the key to your dreams and desires.  It is the key to getting back in tune with your Inner Life, the greater and more powerful part of who you truly are.  Feeling good is your golden ticket out and up of where you don’t want to be and in and around where you do want to be.  

668I never believed it either – that something as simple as choosing to feel good no matter what would change my life, but it did and it still does.  The more I choose to feel good, the more abundance flows into my life.  And yes, I too was stuck and woke up one day wondering how the heck I got to where I was.  At first it was hard to move out of the sludge, but the more I focused on how I wanted to feel versus how I was feeling the easier it became.  Before I knew it, I was waking up wondering how in the heck I ever chose to feel anything less than good, less than happy, less than joy, less than appreciative!  

It is your life and your choice.  If you truly want things to change for the better, there is nothing or no one that will stop you.  Just remember you have the power to create the life you want.  Be still and listen to your heart, for it knows nothing but the truth and the way.  Choose to feel good no matter what and watch what happens.  To feel good is the best option if you want out and up!
