Do Your Words Enhance Your Joy & Happiness

24Have you ever thought about how your words affect your health, happiness and overall well-being?  Think about it for a moment ~ how you express yourself is no different than the food you put into your body.  It will either make you feel better or it will make you feel worse.  Words could very easily be just words, but rarely they are.  They are always tied to a positive or negative feeling.  It is those feelings that will, in the end, contribute to the creation of your own reality, all inclusively. 

A good example would be when you are driving.  How often do you find yourself using choice words toward another driver for one reason or another?  How does this make YOU feel?  When you express your anger or frustration toward another driver, even when they can’t hear you, it not only fills YOU up with negative energy, but it sends negative energy out into the Universe.  So what does the Universe do?  It gives you what you send out ~ like attracts like….and you wonder why you keep having bad experiences on the roadway!  Choice words are not spoken from your Inner Life, they are spoken from a place within your outer life.  A place that does not know peace or well-being at that moment in time.  

23When I made the choice to be happy no matter what, I also had to learn how to relax a lot more and to go with the flow.  This means allowing the uncontrollable to just do its thing.  To not get upset at the things someone else does that could easily cause me to feel irritated, frustrated or angry.  Allowing negative feelings in this manner is no different than giving power to the other person.  Why would I want to allow someone else’s actions to affect how I feel?  And in that, the uncontrollable now becomes controllable!  It can be difficult to “practice” peace in certain situations, but it is not impossible.  It all depends on what you want out of life and how you want to feel.

Think about how much your life would change if the ONLY words you ever spoke were words that enhanced your joy and happiness.  Not only would you feel better, but your health would improve, you would be more prosperous and abundant, and you would know peace, joy and true happiness.  So, the next time you find yourself wanting to use choice words, just remember what those words will do to you as they course through every part of your body, mind and spirit.  Choose joy and happiness, you can’t go wrong!

Gratitude Is More Than Saying Thank You

158Gratitude is more than just saying thank you.  It is truly being and feeling grateful for all that you are, all that you are becoming, and all that you have. We tend to take things and people for granted when at anytime we could lose them.

When you practice gratitude on a daily basis it not only keeps you in tune with your Inner Life, but it takes the focus off of the negative aspects of your life.  Feeling gratitude creates positive energy that flows out into the Universe bringing you more things to be grateful for. Feeling and being grateful for even the smallest of things will yield great benefits. The more gratitude you feel the more resistance you will dissolve within yourself. You will no longer be going against the natural flow of life but floating happily along with it.

135If you find yourself unhappy and surrounded by things you don’t want, find at least one thing to be grateful for and feel it ~ really feel the gratitude for it. It doesn’t matter what it is, just feel grateful in the having of it.  Within a matter of minutes, if not seconds, you will feel a shift in your energy and your mind will automatically start focusing on other things to be grateful for.

If feeling gratitude seems more like work or does not come easy to you, start a gratitude journal. Every night before bed take a few minutes and write down 3 things you were grateful for during that particular day. It does not matter what it is as long as you can feel the gratitude toward it. When you get up the next morning, start your day off by re-reading those things. This will instill the positive feelings you had about them and start your day off on a grateful foot!

Start With Your Inner Life

185It goes without saying that if you want true and lasting happiness, start from within.  Start with your Inner Life, not your outer life.  True and lasting happiness does not come from what is on the outside, it comes from what is on the inside.  From the core of who you truly are.

When you start with your Inner Life, making how you feel your #1 priority, life will take a turn and so will you.  You will see all the good in the world instead of the bad.  You will notice what is working instead of what isn’t.  Your life will fill with abundance in ways you never thought possible. Your perception of life and how it is supposed to be will change as well, creating clarity, value and excitement towards what is yet to come.

111As you learn and practice your way into true happiness, you will be witness to some of the most magnificent and amazing moments and life experiences you have ever had. Just about everything changes in a manner that brings you peace, well-being, abundance and happiness.  All those worries and woes cease to exist, health issues begin to improve, healing replaces pain, energy increases, positive thinking replaces negative thinking, money starts flowing in, and all those desires you have begin to show themselves! But, it doesn’t stop there.  Reaching this “level” of happiness will create a shift so great that nothing else will matter except for how you feel.  

Being happy and feeling good truly does affect every area of your life.  Nothing can change when you approach life with an unhappy and negative state of mind.  It is time to stop giving so much attention to your outer life and start giving all your attention to your Inner Life. How you feel mentally, emotionally and physically is an indicator of where you are.  When you feel good, you are living in and through your Inner Life.  And when you feel bad, you are living in and through your outer life.   

122To live from your Inner Life is no different from living in the present moment because you are the present moment.  You are here now and that is something that will never change.  Give yourself the time you need to allow the happiness you so deserve.  Starting with your Inner Life will change you and your life forever!
