It’s A New Day!

377It’s a new day!  Every day is a new opportunity to create your life the way you want it to be. It is entirely up to you as to how you want your day to go.  If you carry negativity from one day to the next you will get caught in a never-ending cycle of frustration, stress and unhappiness. But when you choose to be done with it and start fresh, you can then begin to build the life you want one moment at a time.

Our thinking will dictate how our day will go because it will either make us feel good or it will make us feel bad. There is an old saying “never go to bed angry”.   How you feel when you go to bed is how you are going to feel when you get out of bed.  Not only that, but how can one rest peacefully when their bodies are full of negative energy?!

371Every thought you think and every emotion you feel paves the road ahead. Negativity is nothing but a waste of time – your time – especially if the life you are seeking is a happy one. It is understood that some days are not going to be that great and that is okay.  We will never stop having good or bad days, but we can take control and try our best to create better days ahead. A better day begins the second you wake up.  It will be up to you to choose what lies ahead.  And yes, this can be accomplished with very little effort.  All it takes is the right attitude – a positive attitude.

369Regardless of what happened today or yesterday, do your best to let it go before you go to bed. Just be done with it and know in your heart that better days await you.  If you find it difficult to let go, try some deep breathing exercises or a sleep meditation. Both will release the tension you are holding onto and both will help you sleep more soundly.  Upon waking, remind yourself the only time that matters is right Now. There is no need to go back and reminisce about the prior day’s frustrations.  Stay focused on what you are doing now; in the present moment, and fill your mind with positive thoughts.

367A great way to start your day is to stay in bed for a few extra minutes allowing yourself to feel the essence of all that you want and desire. If you do this on a consistent basis, your mind will automatically sync with those positive feelings on its own and before you know it, you are bouncing out of bed every morning with joy, energy and happiness!

Living in Faith & Positive Anticipation

50Do you have complete faith and positive anticipation of what is to come?  Do you wake every morning filled with excitement of how your day is going to unfold?  If not, why?  Many dread the future because their lives are not where they want them to be.  However, you are the one who is in control.  You are the one who is calling all the shots.

You are a true and powerful creator of your own reality.

When you live in faith and positive anticipation you release your resistance to what is currently going on.  This means you stop going against your current life situation and relax in the knowing that all is well exactly as it is.

All is well in the present moment.

02Resistance stems from past and/or future thoughts. Acceptance stems from the present moment.  Resistance is like that of a solid brick wall. Only one thing can knock it down, and that is your acceptance of it. When you accept it for what it is, it loses its power over you.  It loses its heaviness that keeps you weighted down.

Every moment is a moment to create what you want.  You have the choice to create a happy or unhappy life experience.  Every vibration (feeling) you send out creates YOUR LIFE’S NEXT MOMENT.  Do you get that?  Right NOW your energy is creating your next moment.

You regain your power through your positive energy. 

If you are unhappy and you keep living in, thinking of, and feeling that unhappiness, you are continuing the pattern of unhappiness.  You are slowly but surely getting more out of tune with your Inner Life.   You are allowing too much of your outer life control your life’s situations.

49One of the most powerful methods I have found for changing negative life situations is to think and feel the essence of that which you truly desire.  Not only will this get you back in tune with your Inner Life, but it will begin to create and manifest a life that is more in line with where you want to be.

The power is within you so don’t waste another minute of your time!

When you let go of all the resistance and live in faith and positive anticipation, the Universe has no choice but to yield to you all that you desire and more!

What Is Your Game Board Revealing To You?

82Life is not a game per se but it is supposed to be fun.  Unfortunately, we are all faced with unwanted situations.  Situations that can cause more harm than good to our well-being if we allow them to.  I know how hard it can be to stay focused and positive when you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders so maybe it is time to stop worrying and start playing. 

There was a time when I was faced with the possibility of what I felt would be the “end of me”.  Although I knew it wouldn’t actually be the end of me, I allowed not only my past redirect my thoughts but I also allowed fear to control me.  This did not do me good nor did it get me closer to where I wanted to be so I made up a little game in my head.  One that eventually “tricked” my mind into a totally different thinking and belief pattern.  It was then that everything began falling into place.

84What I did was think of my outer life (people, places and things) as one big game board. I laid it out in my head like a grid map which completely matched where I live, where I go, who I spent time with, and the things I was doing or not doing.  The object of the game was to only “play” with the people, places and things that brought me 100% complete joy and happiness.  Boy did my game board empty out pretty quick!  I had not realized how much negativity I was allowing into my life.  I even felt some disbelief as I thought through this little discovery of mine until I realized what my game board was revealing me.  It was revealing all the things I did NOT want!  This in itself “enabled” me to change the direction of my focus which in turn changed the direction of where my life was headed.  Focusing strictly on the “pieces” I WANTED , took me away from the situation I was facing at the time which took me away from my negative thinking.  It actually became a daily game for me and it was fun.  I would get up every morning, place myself on “Start” and from there I chose who, what, where, when and how I wanted my game board (life) to fill up.  Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face and even a little laughter over some of the great and enlightening experiences I had while playing!

83Honestly speaking, I would say it was within 3 – 5 days that things began to change.  Not only did I feel “normal” again, but I also felt a renewed sense of faith and hope.  I knew everything was going to be okay and it was and is. Today my game board is filled with nothing but the pieces (people, places and things) that do in fact bring me complete joy and happiness!

What type of pieces are on your game board?  What is your game board revealing to you?  Lay it out in your head and see what gives you a spark and see what makes you die out.  Remove every piece (or work toward removing it) that does not leave you feeling good.  Recreate your entire life if you want to for you are the only one who has control over your life and how you feel.  No one or no thing is responsible for it except you. 

You can’t change your thinking and belief patterns if you are surrounded with negativity so by way of this little game, you are adding joy and happiness to your life through people, places and things, which in turn automatically changes the pattern of your thinking!  From there, as long as you continue to have positive thoughts and feelings, nothing but good will come into play!!!

Positive pieces to add to your game board:

  • Meditation
  • Exercise
  • Positive, Inspiring, Self Assured, Well Balanced People
  • Music
  • Cooking / Baking
  • Helping Others
  • Cleaning – getting rid of the things you no longer have a use for
  • Nature
  • Pampering Yourself
  • Hobbies, Writing, Reading
  • Playing with your Pets
  • Family Time / Family Meals
  • Feel Good / Funny Movies
  • New Places
  • Ice Cream – when is the last time you had an ice cream cone? 

Negative pieces to remove from your game board:

  • Negative, Drama Filled, Unbalanced People
  • Self Destructive Behaviors
  • Unhealthy Life Styles
  • Eating Junk Food
  • Being a Couch Potato
  • Clutter
  • Violent, Depressing Movies 

I think you get the idea – it is your game board so play with it any way you so choose as long as it makes you feel HAPPY!
