Do You Believe In Yourself

73Believing in yourself will make you feel confident, self-assured and worthy.  You will stand up for what you believe in, acknowledge your accomplishments, and take pride in your work and efforts. Although things may not always go the way you want them to, you recognize that you did your best and you keep trying.  You do not acknowledge “failure” as a negative but as a stepping stone toward something better.  You have faith and trust that all is well and great things are yet to come.  You are authentic in who you are and treat yourself with respect.  You nurture and care for your physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Your internal focus and thoughts are always on the positive aspects of life and of who you truly are.

If you live not believing in yourself it can lead to a very self-destructive life style. You will be filled with self-doubt, inherit self-sabotaging behaviors, call yourself names, criticize everything you do or don’t do, and question your worthiness.  You treat yourself the same way an abusive partner would treat you.  Eventually you grow to be detached from the world and live with self-hatred.  You no longer care about who you are or what you are doing.  You allow negativity to control you creating mental and physical health issues.

SONY DSCSomewhere along the line you attached yourself to negative belief patterns, all of which stem from your past. Your awareness of these belief patterns may not always be in the forefront but they are there just waiting for something or someone to trigger them.  Once they are triggered your self-worth drops ten stories and you are left standing in a pool of self-doubt.  Before you know it, you are out of tune with your Inner Life, the greater part of who you are, and life just seems to spiral downward.

The best way to conquer these negative belief patterns is to stop them as soon as they arise.  How will you know they have risen before it is too late?  You will know by how you feel.  As soon as you start feeling bad about yourself, take note of what you are thinking about.  Be consciously aware of what words are playing in your mind.  Once you are aware of what you are thinking, you are now in control because you have the power to stop it.  You have the power to change your beliefs. 

690A belief is ONLY a thought you keep thinking.  Take the time to replace ALL negative beliefs and thought patterns with positive ones even if you don’t believe them.  Eventually your mind will reprogram itself to believe the new thoughts and so will you!  This process will not only get you back in tune with your Inner Life, but it will keep you in the present moment and that is where you want to be.

If true and lasting happiness is what you seek, seek first from within.  Live, breathe and be your Inner Life.  Quiet your mind, focus solely on the present moment and allow the power of your Inner Life guide you to where you want to be ….

You Can!

13Do you become frustrated when you are unable to achieve what you set your mind to?  I know the feeling.  Or should I say, I once knew the feeling.  I knew the feeling before I realized the only thing stopping me from achieving anything was me.  I was spending too much time in my outer life instead of living through my Inner Life.  My thoughts and beliefs were negative so therefore I lived in a cycle of failure.  It even got to the point where I blamed the rest of the world for holding me back!  Looking back, I see how ridiculous this was; how ridiculous I was.  

I am the one who holds the power. And guess what?  You hold the power too!  You CAN do it!  All you have to do is BELIEVE and you will ACHIEVE!  A belief is only a thought you keep thinking so keeping believing you CAN do it! You can lose 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 pounds!  You can have a healthy relationship.  You can accomplish success doing what you love to do.  You can earn and attract any amount of money you desire. You can live wherever you want to live.  You can be happy, healthy and full of abundance!


You CAN do it.  

You CAN achieve your goals.  

You CAN live your dream.  

You CAN have whatever you desire.

12Why not try to adopt a “can do” attitude! Replace all your negative beliefs and thoughts with positive ones.  Set your mind in motion of what you want to do and then do it.  No need to give yourself a time line for this will create resistance to what is. When your focus is on the completion of a set goal for example, you are living in the future. Instead, remain in the NOW, live in the ESSENCE of that which you want to achieve, and truly BELIEVE you CAN do it!  This in itself will get you there faster.

Change Your Beliefs with Daily Affirmations

How would you like to create a positive shift in your vibration, become more in tune with your Inner Life, start attracting what you want, and live a truly happy life?  Why not start with something simple yet powerful?  Daily affirmations are a great way to set the tone for each and every day.  When read several times throughout your day, with true belief, they soon become your reality.  They replace the thoughts and beliefs that have been hindering your life experiences.

For example, how many of you struggle with money?  What are your core beliefs about money? What do you constantly tell yourself about money?  If there are no finances in your bank account it is because of what you are thinking and believing in regards to money.  Replace those thoughts with power affirmations such as:

I am and have always been wealthy.
I deserve all the money I want.
Money is always flowing into my life experience. 

How about losing those few extra pounds you have been fighting with?  Are you constantly telling yourself you are fat?  When you eat a bowl of ice cream or a bag of Funyons, do you believe it is going to pack on the pounds?  Try some of these affirmations:

I am a happy, healthy size ______ (fill in your size).
The food I eat compliments my health and well-being.
Exercise makes me feel energized and full of life.

Feel free to use the above affirmations, add to them, or create your own.  Post them in several places around your home and keep a copy with you.  Read them to yourself or out loud at least 3 times a day. Read them slowly with trust, faith and belief in them.  Allow the words to be absorbed through your body and mind.  Know them to be TRUE and they will be!  If you are up to the task and would like to give your affirmations a power booster, not only read them, but write them three times a day!!!
