Mistakes Will Be Made

97Mistakes will be made.  Feeling bad about your mistakes will quickly suck the joy and happiness right out of you if YOU allow them to.  You can still be happy NOW no matter what mistakes were made.  Accept them, take responsibility for them, learn from them, make them right if possible, and move on.  Don’t allow them to consume who you are.  You are not your mistakes, but you are human. Don’t let them take away your happiness, you are worth more than a mistake.

Be Consumed By Your Inner Life

14One of the biggest set backs we can give ourselves is allowing our outer life control our Inner Life.  Your Inner Life is the core of who you really are.  It is where nothing can break you and all that matters can be found.  It is where you are protected, safe, loved and one with Source.

When we are faced with a broken relationship, financial or business challenges, the death of a loved one, disease, etc. we have a tendency to fall into its evil trap of worry, stress, anxiety, pain and depression.  We allow ourselves to be consumed and sucked up in what is happening to us instead of continuing to be consumed with our natural state of being which is peace, love, well-being and true happiness.  This does not mean you won’t experience negative emotion, because you will.  It just means you will be happy even if you do not feel happy.

129How does this happen?  It happens because we become out of tune with our Inner Life due to our outer life circumstances.  Something unexpected spins us like a top and before we know it we are in a downward spiral toward the depths of our own inner hell.  A place where there is no hope.  A place where you literally have to crash and burn before you can even begin to think about pulling yourself up and out.  BUT, it does not have to be this way.  No matter what is happening in your outer life, if you can just remember to remain in the peace of the moment, to remain in your Inner Life, life itself will carry you through.  It’s all in your Inner Life ~ everything you dream of and desire is right there ~ in you and through you.

193Nothing can take you away from your Inner Life unless YOU allow it to.  If the choices you are making seem to create a more stressful and difficult life experience, take a step back and ask yourself where you are.  Are you in your outer life or are you in your Inner Life.  If you constantly find yourself in your outer life, do, think, and feel the things that will take you back to your Inner Life.  Do what brings a smile to your face, warms your heart, and creates joy and happiness. 

I know how difficult life can be, but I also know how easy life can be when we just allow the natural flow of life’s goodness carry us away!  The Universe is on your side and ready to give you everything you want so the choice is yours.  How would you like to make your life today?  Would you like to make it happy or would you like to make it difficult?  Would you rather live within the unlimited bounties of peace, well-being and love or the confines of stress, anxiety, worry, pain and depression?  Choose to be and live from your Inner Life and see how quickly your outer life changes for the better!

Gratitude Is More Than Saying Thank You

158Gratitude is more than just saying thank you.  It is truly being and feeling grateful for all that you are, all that you are becoming, and all that you have. We tend to take things and people for granted when at anytime we could lose them.

When you practice gratitude on a daily basis it not only keeps you in tune with your Inner Life, but it takes the focus off of the negative aspects of your life.  Feeling gratitude creates positive energy that flows out into the Universe bringing you more things to be grateful for. Feeling and being grateful for even the smallest of things will yield great benefits. The more gratitude you feel the more resistance you will dissolve within yourself. You will no longer be going against the natural flow of life but floating happily along with it.

135If you find yourself unhappy and surrounded by things you don’t want, find at least one thing to be grateful for and feel it ~ really feel the gratitude for it. It doesn’t matter what it is, just feel grateful in the having of it.  Within a matter of minutes, if not seconds, you will feel a shift in your energy and your mind will automatically start focusing on other things to be grateful for.

If feeling gratitude seems more like work or does not come easy to you, start a gratitude journal. Every night before bed take a few minutes and write down 3 things you were grateful for during that particular day. It does not matter what it is as long as you can feel the gratitude toward it. When you get up the next morning, start your day off by re-reading those things. This will instill the positive feelings you had about them and start your day off on a grateful foot!
