I Lost Myself

331I lost myself.  I’m not sure how, when or why, I just know I did.  I took an unfamiliar path toward something new and exciting, but I forgot to take myself along with me.  Looking back, I wish I had because then I know things would have turned out differently.  Now, I am left feeling sad and less than happy which is rare for me.  However, this too shall pass.

We all get lost from time to time, forgetting ourselves in the midst of new adventures, life changes, or even the ups and downs of everyday living.  It doesn’t matter so much that we get lost, what matters is that we find our way back to our Inner Life ~ the greater and more powerful part of who we truly are.  To the part of us that knows nothing but peace, abundance, tranquility, unconditional love and true happiness.  The part of us that knows All Is Well exactly as it is and always will be.

22As thrilling as life’s new experiences can be, I believe it is important not to forget ourselves in all the excitement.  I believe it is important to remain grounded within our Inner Life absorbing all that the present moment has to offer.  Let’s not cloud the beauty of our experiences with past pains, regrets or issues, and let’s not cloud it with worries of what the future may or may not hold. 

Too often we get caught up in the moment and before you know it, time has passed, you are living through your outer life, and you are nowhere to be found.  This in itself can cause quite the emotional roller coaster regardless of what the experience is.  However, it is okay.  Where we are and what we are doing is always okay even if it is not taking us to where we really want to be.  With each new experience is born a new dream or desire ~ for better or for worse, take the time to get back to you ~ to your Inner Life.  I lost myself and it hurts, but I will cherish the memories of the moments within my heart for an eternity.

Be, Have, and Live In Happiness

55There will always be times throughout our lives when we experience periods of unhappiness, of feeling down in the dumps.  But regardless of how we are feeling, it is our choice as to whether or not we want to stay there or move ourselves back to a better feeling place. 

There is nothing or no one who can make you feel anything ~ you are the only one who is in control of how you feel.  Yes, I know, we like to blame others for how we feel and we like to blame the world for how our life is playing out, but in reality and in truth, your life and your feelings are your choice.

59When feeling unhappy we have a tendency to focus on how we are currently feeling which in turn creates more feelings of unhappiness.  And before you know it, you are suffering from sadness and depression. So why not turn yourself toward the people, places and things that bring you happiness.  Turn yourself toward the present moment, leaving all past and future thoughts behind.  Being in the present moment is full of positive energy, abundance, well-being, unconditional love, peace, joy and true happiness.  It is a natural part of who you really are and you are never without it.

57Trust me, I know all too well how hard it can be to get up, get out, and get motivated when you feel like a slug.  But once you do, your entire body of energy will change and you will be back in tune with your Inner Life before you know it.  Your Inner Life does not know unhappiness.  It does not know the past, future, stress, worry, anxiety, depression, dis-ease or lack.  It is when we live outside ourselves, in our outer lives, that we suffer and live unhappy lives.  The more consistently you live within your Inner Life, the greater and more powerful part of who you are, the more in tune you will be and the more your life will be filled with joy and happiness! 

56So, instead of giving into the negativity of unhappiness, why not give into the positivity of joy and happiness!?!  No matter what is going on you can still be, have and live in happiness !!!

43I never believed it either – that something as simple as choosing to feel good no matter what would change my life, but it did and it still does.  The more I choose to feel good, the more abundance flows into my life, and the more my life turns into positive living.  

Positive living is not just about feeling good or having a positive attitude, it’s about creating a positive life no matter what comes your way.  It’s about living in and through your Inner Life instead of your outer life.  It’s about making positive choices and decisions that will enhance your life physically, mentally, and spiritually. This will be the turning point and the point of no return.  Once you get the sweet taste of positive living, there will be no going back.  

Choosing to feel good should be the most important part of your life.  Not only does it keep you in tune with your Inner Life, the greater and most powerful part of who you truly are, but it guides you right into positive living and a life filled with abundance.  How can you not live a positive life when you choose to feel good?  

44The power in positive living is that it will create the life you want.  It will bring you life experiences that will take your breath away, leaving you wondering whether or not you are dreaming. It will enlighten you, brighten you, and create a life full of goodness and well-being.  Feeling good and positive living go hand-in-hand; you can’t have one without the other, so isn’t it time you jumped on the feel good band wagon and get to some positive living?  Or are you just going to sit there and continue drowning in your own unhappiness ~ it’s your choice, it’s your life.
